1 off - Used 55 gal (250 litres) stainless steel jacketed mixing vessel, manufactured by T. Giusti, measuring 710 mm. Internal diameter x 485 mm. straight shell height, with a hemispherical bottom and flat one half hinged, top cover.

Agitation is provided by 2 off separate drives, one driving a circular, semi-conical Overmixer blade of 75 mm. x 6 mm., section set at an angle into the vessel, with 7 off - nylon blade, 125 mm. wide, that scrape the vessel walls and bottom hemisphere. Driven by a 0.75kw SEW variable speed gearbox with output speeds from 27 to 135 rpm. the other Contra Rotating shaft is fitted with 2 off - two bladed paddles of 385 mm. diameter made from 50 mm. x 5 mm. flat bar. Driven by a 0.75kw SEW variable speed gearbox with output speeds from 34 to 68 rpm.

A Silverson type Inline high shear mixer, driven by 7.5kw, 2 pole motor, is connected to the vessel outlet, and recirculates the batch contents into a homogeneous mix. A 315 mm. hopper is connected to the inline mixer for powder and liquid additions. Complete with control panel for stop/ start motor functions and a PT100 probe located in the recirculation pipework, that displays the batch product temperature.

Vessel is supported on 3 off - 2" outside diameter stainless steel legs mounted onto a stainless steel base of 1,200 mm. square.

Fully ground and polished inside and outside and of hygienic construction. Suitable for food use.
