1 off - Used 1400 gal (6365L) mild steel mixing vessel measuring 7'-0" (2130mm) dia 6'-0" (1830mm) straight shell height plus a 6" (150mm) deep conical bottom and a flat top, free standing on 4 off- 6" sq. U/C legs with 12" sq. baseplates giving a clearance of approx 12" under cone.

Agitation is by 2 sets of drives ie.
Agitator 1 - Centrally positioned 71/2 kW, 1450 RPM, frame size D132M motor driving, via equal pulleys and V belts, a 7" centres Renold worm and wheel gearbox giving an output speed of 29 RPM to a 80mm sq. shaft fitted with a 2 bladed radial flow paddle from 4" x 3/4" section flat bar, plus a bottom extension profiled to the cone, of approx 5'-6" dia.

Agitator 2 - Off centre positioned 7 1/2kW Greaves model FDM10, 970 RPM, frame size D160MD, driving a 2" dia x 4'-6" lg? shaft fitted with 2 off- 10"? dia 3 bladed marine propellers.

Vessel has 2 off- 7" wide baffles.
